~Basic Rules~
- DO NOT NAG THE ADMINS ABOUT APPS. This includes posting 'helpful reminders' in the random thoughts thread or repeatedly bumping your app thread with things like 'This app is done' if it has not been approved straight away. If you do any of this in any way, shape, or form, it is license for us, the admins, to delay approval even further. It is in your best interest to be patient, because if either of us has to deal with anyone nagging either of us about apps, it will not be pretty.
- Respect the staff and their decisions. What we say goes, in other words. You may disagree with us, as we all are entitled to our opinions, but if you do so rudely you run the risk of being banned.
- Respect other peoples' pairing preferences. We all are entitled to our pairing preferences, and it's perfectly fine to have OTPs and NOTPs, but under no circumstances is it okay to flame, harass, or make people feel bad about their pairing choices. If you go out of your way to be hateful to someone about their pairing choices or what they choose to play out in terms of pairings, it is grounds for being banned. I'm serious. If I see someone start pairing drama, they will be banned on the spot.
- NO PLAGIARISM. This mostly applies to writing apps. Make sure all work is your own and not just you copying something word for word from somewhere else.
- Proper grammar is a must. This includes proper capitalization, punctuation, and generally following the basic grammatical rules and sentence structure. I am aware mistakes can be made, and every once in a while it is understandable. However, if a post is unreadable because of grammatical errors I have a right to step in and correct your grammar.
- For now, the rating is PG-13. Just don't go overboard with foul language or anything. The occasional F bomb is all right, but try not to make it your character's favorite word if you can help it.
- You will be limited to ten canon characters, and this includes background characters. That includes the 'named' background characters, too (such as Derpy, Doctor Whooves, etc). In other words, don't hog all the background characters for yourself please.
- You can have as many next gen characters as you can handle. The more the merrier! Just try not to have your next gens specifically interact only with other next gens of yours. That would be boring.
~Play Rules~
- You may only play as a character if they have been approved by either myself or Pinkie. Please, if you have made an app for a new character and it hasn't been approved yet, do not make a new account without knowing if you've been approved for said character. This irritates me to no end.
- Please keep your posts longer rather than shorter. A paragraph is the bare minimum. No one line responses, please, as those are highly difficult to work with and respond to.
- Characters who have been dropped are still considered a part of the roleplay. If you want to pick up someone who was dropped, you'll have to explain what's been going on with them.
- When starting a new roleplay thread, please consult the timeline. This is to prevent conflicts in dates and other such continuity errors.
- Sigs may be no taller than 250 pixels. They can be as wide as you like... Within reason. No more than one signature may be used at a time by one account. This obviously doesn't include signatures comprised of multiple images made by our lovely members.
